Anna Kay Faris is an American actress, producer, podcaster and author. She became famous for her comedic roles, especially the lead role Cindy Campbell in the Scary Movie series. Faris has appeared in a number of films including The Hot Chick, May, Lost in Translation, Brokeback Mountain, Just Friends, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Smiley Face, The House Bunny, What's Your Number?, The Dictator and Overboard. On television, she played the recurring role of Erica in the final season of the NBC sitcom Friends and played Christy Plunkett in the CBS sitcom Mom. Faris has also starred in the series Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Alvin and the Chipmunks, as well as The Emoji Movie. In 2015, Faris launched Unqu Qualified, an advisory podcast, and in 2017 his memoir of the same name was published, which became the New York Times Bestseller.
In the Scary Movie film franchise, she played Cindy Campbell. She also co-produced and performed in the 2008 film The House Bunny, in which she played Zoey. On the CBS sitcom Mom, she played Christy, the main character.
