Rakesh "Rick" Parashar is an American record producer, sound engineer and musician. Together with his brother Raj, he founded the London Bridge Studio in Seattle, Washington, in 1985. During his career he worked with and helped develop many local artists, including Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Brandi Carlile and My Goodness. Supported by Parashar's production and recording services, London Bridge has become the centerpiece of the Seattle music scene. His credits include platinum multi-disc releases for Temple of the Dog, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Blind Melon, and Dinosaur Jr. Parashar's projects aren't limited to Seattle artists; in 2001, he produced the platinum series Away from the Sun by 3 Doors Down and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Nickelback's Silver Side Up, which has sold over six million copies. Her production credits also include platinum albums for Melissa Etheridge, Bon Jovi and Unwritten Law.
