He is known for his roles in several 1970s Jack Hill films, as well as appearing in horror films, including as Captain Spaulding in the Rob Zombie House of 1000 Corpses films, The Devil's Rejects and 3 from Hell. Captain Haig and Haig himself have been called the horror film icon. Haig has starred in the TV series Jason of Star Command as the villain Dragos. He has appeared in many TV shows including The Untouchables, Batman, Gunsmoke, Mission: Impossible, Star Trek, Get Smart, The Rockford Files, Charlie's Angels, Fantasy Island, Buck Rogers in the 25 Century, The Dukes of Hazzard , The A- Team and MacGyver.
